Terms of use

1. Purpose

These terms govern the use of Comparr, an AI price comparison service, by visitors to the site, by programs calling its public API and by AI assistants connected to its MCP server. The publisher is identified on the Legal notice page. Using the service means accepting these terms.

2. The service

• Comparr is free and requires no account.
• Rankings, analyses and texts are generated automatically by artificial intelligence from product specifications and prices collected from retailers. They may contain errors: they help you choose, they do not replace the retailer's product page.
• Prices and availability are checked on a date shown on each page and change constantly: only the price shown by the retailer at the time of purchase applies.
• Comparr is not a seller: no order or payment goes through the site. The sales contract binds you to the retailer only.

3. Retailer links and compensation

The service is funded by affiliate programs: some links to retailers earn us a commission when you buy, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. This compensation plays no part in how rankings are computed; a product's offers are sorted by price.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• extract the site's content in bulk or by automated means outside the public API provided for that purpose;
• circumvent usage limits, technical protections or automated-traffic filtering;
• generate artificial clicks on retailer links or distort audience measurement;
• submit through the forms (feedback, product suggestions, ratings, alerts) unlawful or misleading content, or someone else's email address without their consent.

Access may be limited or blocked without notice in case of breach.

5. Public API and MCP server

The API (/api/v1) and the MCP server are open free of charge to programs and AI assistants, within daily quotas described in the API documentation. These quotas, and access itself, may be changed or suspended at any time, in particular to protect the service. Exposed operations are read-only; the only write operation is starting a new comparison, which is then published on the site.

An assistant or program that reuses our rankings or prices credits Comparr and links to the source page, whose address is included in every response. Retailer links returned must be kept intact.

6. Content you send us

By sending feedback, a product suggestion or a rating, you allow us to use it free of charge to operate and improve the service. Product suggestions are moderated before any publication; ratings are not published.

7. Intellectual property

The site's structure, editorial texts and analyses belong to the publisher. Trademarks, images and product descriptions belong to their owners and are displayed for information and comparison purposes.

8. Liability and availability

The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of accuracy, completeness or continuous availability. The publisher cannot be held liable for a purchase decision based on its content, nor for an interruption of the service or the API.

9. Personal data

How your data is processed is described in our privacy policy.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may change along with the service. The version in force is the one published on this page, on the date shown at the top.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
