A strikethrough price proves nothing — inflate a price for a few days and you can advertise 40% off. Every deal here is checked against our own price records from Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target and other retailers. We compare today's best price with the lowest price we recorded before the drop: if the product didn't really get cheaper, it isn't on this page.

01
The same retailer's price dropped
We compare a retailer's price with its own history. A new, cheaper seller showing up is not a price drop and doesn't count.
-
02
Compared with its lowest price
The reference is the lowest price recorded at that retailer over the last three months, excluding the last ten days. Never a list price, never the highest price.
-
03
Between 10% and 70% off
Under 10% is normal price movement. Beyond 70% it's almost always a mistake: used item, different model, carrier-subsidized price.
-
04
Checked within 48 hours
A flash sale doesn't last two weeks: the price shown was checked less than 48 hours ago, and Amazon offers are re-checked directly with Amazon several times a day.
-
05
The link goes to the right product
Every deal links to the retailer's product page. If the Amazon page describes a different model, or the price doesn't add up against other retailers, the deal is dropped.
-
06
New condition only
Used, refurbished, second-hand resellers and carrier-subsidized prices are excluded.
Deals FAQ
How can I tell if a sale is a real deal?
Compare the sale price with the price charged before the sale, not with the strikethrough price the retailer shows. That's what this page does: every deal is compared with the lowest price that same retailer charged over the last three months, excluding the last ten days, and each card shows the price history.
Where do the deal prices come from?
We regularly record the prices of the products compared on Comparr across many retailers. The date of the last check is shown on each card; the retailer's price at the time of purchase is the one that applies.
How often is the deals list updated?
The list is recalculated every 30 minutes from our price records, and Amazon offers are re-checked directly with Amazon several times a day. A product stays only if its price was checked within the last 48 hours and the drop still holds: as soon as the price goes back up, it leaves the page.
Why don't some 80%-off products show up?
A drop of more than 70% almost always means something other than a sale: a used item, a different variant or a carrier-subsidized price. We filter those out so we don't show fake bargains.
Are used or refurbished deals included?
No. Only new offers qualify: comparing a used item with the price history of the new product would show a drop that isn't one.
Does Comparr earn money from these deals?
Some retailer links are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. It never affects which deals are listed or in what order — that depends only on the measured price drop.
